Kernel Task goes high CPU randomly

Hello, Im using a huge LG display connected over thunderbolt to my MacBook pro retina 2013 late model.

Everything is fine, except the CPU usage goes sky high and the whole system goes dead slow.

When I investigated, found out, its happening due to kernel task eating up 400-600% CPU usage.
