Every monday when I come back to work, these processes are running at 100% for several seconds, then go back to normal for maybe 15 seconds, and then do 100% again for a while etc. The only solution seems to be restart.
I always have my mac on and only restart when something like this happens. During the workdays, the Mac always works just fine. But it seems like if I leave it alone longer than 24 hours (or something along that line), these processes will start to behave in this fashion.
It's problematic for me as I'm running some servers on it, and they suffer from these other processes taking so much CPU.
I've got a Macbook pro with 2GHz i7, 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3, SSD and OS X 10.6.8.
Any ideas?
