Hello,

As I noticed, something is downloading data to my Mac, about 2 MB/s, it's little changing by time.

When I look at Activity Monitor, macOS's process kernel_task is downloading hundreds of GB data in just few days. Once when I checked, it downloaded over 1 TB of data in 10 days.

Same issue was on Mojave, on Catalina updated from Mojave and under Catalina fresh install.

I have 5K iMac from 2015 running latest macOS Catalina.

Thanks

EDIT: I noticed that data usage massively grows up when I have launched Music app. When I quit macOS Catalina Music app, data usage is much lower.

I don't have Apple Music

EDIT 2: I'm taking it back, Music app is closed but kernel_task still use excesive numbers of data
