Hi,
I'm facing a wierd problem with the kernel_task together with Safari: The kernel_task increases infinitely if Safari is open. It only has to be open, no page loaded. After a few days the kernel_task already amounts to 1GB and grows and grows. I disabled all extensions, I even reinstalled macOS. Nothing worked. If I quit Safari, the kernel_task goes back to a few MB.
Anyone experiencing a similar issue?
Thanks in advance!
macOS: 13.1
Safari: 16.2
