Hi Guys,

a look at my Activity Monitor showed that kernel_task is using 1.10 GB of my RAM.
i am not sure if its normal (it doesn't look normal to me).
i installed G-Skill 8GB kit 4-days ago, i am not sure if i saw this before.
i am running parallels 6, office for Mac and Chrome on Mac when the attached screenshot was taken.

any advice/help on this is greatly appreciated.

Thanks..

I think it's normal. I'm running Parallels 6 too, and at this time my kernal_task occupies 1017.8MB of RAM.
