For my new Pro Max 16 in black titanium, I got a Benks ArmorAir case made of Kevlar. It’s very rigid, and since I tend to take the case on and off multiple times a day, I have a concern: can the rigid case scratch or mark the black titanium frame of the iPhone?

I imagine it depends on how often you take your case on and off. I’ve used one of those cases before and I didn’t really notice any damage but that’s also because I didn’t take it off very often. I stick to their armor pro cases cause I get the Kevlar look in a little easier to remove form factor.

The side edges will rub off over time. Scratches will not appear unless hard particles get under the cover - sand, etc.

You mean that over time, either multiple applications, the side edges will show off kind of discoloration? That’s very likely to happen
