Key activation Windows 7 with Parallels and Boot Camp

Hi everyone!

I had to delete my boot camp partition and reinstall win 7 on my mac. since then I can't use my activation key for win 7 anymore. Both with parallels 8 and when booting in boot camp, the activation key doesn't work anymore.

Anyone experienced the same problem when using boot camp and a virtual machine? What can be done about it?

If you do a phone activation, which takes about 5-6 minutes, it should work. When the automated system asks how many computers you've installed Windows on, answer "one."

I was able to activate Windows 7 in Parallels 8.

How does it work with Boot Camp though? Is it activated as well there and if not, can I activate it the same way?

Parallels 8 is great for Word/Excel and small things but for games I still have to be able to use Boot Camp.
