Key Board Mapping Application

I recently purchased a set of a wireless keyboard and mouse. http://images.maplin.co.uk/full/a55hc.jpg As you can see, the keyboard has a lot of extra keys that on my Mac computer have no purpose. Is there an application or some method, of making those keys have a function, like open safari or bring my IM client to the front of my screen etc.

Sometimes the keyboard will come with drivers to install if it's made to work with Mac. I don't know of an application that will allow you to give those extra keys functions, though.

I had some success remapping a Windows-style USB keyboard under 10.4 using Ukelele — that's definitely worth giving a go, assuming that ignoring the extra keys isn't hardwired into OS X somewhere further up.
