I have a 2011 13' Macbook Air with an Apple Wireless Keyboard. Whenever I come home from work I use a Display Port (thunderbolt) to DVI and plug it into my Dell Ultrasharp.
Is there a way to map the Media Eject button (top right button that looks like an up arrow with a line under it) to be the On/Off button on my Macbook Air so I don't have to keep opening/closing the lid to turn it on when I get home?
Thanks,
-Paul

Well carp... I just found the shortcut...http://www.daskeyboard.com/support/ after googling for a bit.
Supposedly CTRL --> Media Eject button is the power on/off button. I assume this won't work when the laptop is off tho?
Thanks,

Ok just tested this... Yeah, it doesn't work when the laptop is OFF.
Anyway to turn on the laptop without having to open the lid and press the power button ?
It would be awesome to get home from work, plug in the Display Port, and power up the laptop while it is still closed.
