I used to be able to map the Ctrl, Windows, and Alt keys on my Microsoft keyboard to use with MacOS in the Keyboard Settings. As shown here:

But in the new System Settings, this seems to have been removed?

It's not removed, just found slightly differently. It's under Keyboard » Keyboard Shortcuts » Modifier Keys

Or just type Customize Modifier Keys in the Search box.

Thanks very much. I was able to get the modifier keys set for my Microsoft wired keyboard. I didn't even notice all those items on the left column!

Strange thing is, in the "Select keyboard" popup menu it also lists my wireless mouse. I had to switch mice before I could get the keyboard settings to stick. I think something is buggy.
