key pressed when mac idle..still ignored after update

even after the keyboard update (2/19), my mac still seems to ignore the first key i press when my computer is idle. usually happens with the pause, play, caps lock, etc. i tried to redownload the keyboard update from the apple site, but it said my keyboard did not need the update because its already updated. anyone else having this problem?

Sorry for replying so late ... and just for the record: Yes, I have the exact same problem on my MacBook 2.2 GHz (Late 2007 Model) with OS X 10.5.6. I don't even have to be "inactive" for it to happen. I also have the Keyboard Update installed - to no avail. I have been living with this annoying issue for nearly one year, and I would be more than happy about a solution.
