Hey,

So I've noticed something pretty unusual since upgrading - some of the keys on my keyboard don't repeat when holding them down. It's pretty random as far as I can tell, the keys I've found that don't automatically repeat when holding them down are:

1234567890
q
w
r
t
p
d
f
g
h
j
k
x
v
b
m

At first I thought it was only the vowels that were repeating, but L and Z and S etc work fine... The backspace also works as normal.

I've checked the keyboard settings of course and they're set to Key Repeat: Fast & Delay Until Repeat: Short.

I've tried changing the repeat speed via terminal using: defaults write NSGlobalDomain KeyRepeat -int 1 but it made no difference

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? If so do you have a workaround or fix yet?

Cheers,
Refuso

That doesn't explain why the numbers don't repeat fast, or why some other letters like 'D' 'F' 'G' etc don't repeat fast... a bit strange!

Found this on the Apple forums, this seems to get rid of it

defaults write -g ApplePressAndHoldEnabled -bool false

Then restart the computer.
