Apple hieroglyphs

in the Apple menu for Force Quit, there are a couple of hieroglyphs that aren't on the MBP keyboard. Surely these are demystified on the cheat sheets listed above in this thread.

However my question is: Would it pain Apple too much to make their menu correspond to the keyboard or to put the hieroglyphs on the keys?

Those are command+shift+esc. The first two are exactly like the appear on the keyboard. The last one isn't used because people are more used to seeing ESC. It's a bit like when they switched from using option to using alt because people didn't get the connection.
