How much more key travel are you expecting from the upcoming redesigned scissor switch keyboard compared with the current design (0.55mm)? I'm trying to manage my expectations for the upcoming redesigned keyboard.

What exactly are you expecting from this thread? You know that all you'll get are some random estimates or wishful thinking, right? If you want my prediction: I don't think that there will be any change to the key travel.

This is all we have so far I believe:

In a previous note, Kuo said that the scissor mechanism that Apple will use will improve the typing experience by offering longer key travel and better durability by adopting a glass fiber for a reinforced structure. A keyboard with a scissor mechanism will be thicker than the butterfly keyboard, but Kuo believes that most users won't be able to tell the difference.

I was merely pointing out that nobody on these forums has insider information about future Apple products (and if they do, they won't share it) and any replies you might get will be mere baseless speculation. To put differently: you will not get any accurate or reliable information here, because there is nobody who can provide it.
