Keyboard and Garageband

Hi All

Need some advice. I am getting a macbook pro and want to start using Garageband and eventually Logic to write and record music. Can anyone tell me firstly a good keyboard (as in piano) to buy that will work with garageband and logic and also if I will need to buy any other equipment to connect it to my macbook. I am from the UK so any help on where to buy stuff over here would be great.
