i figure i knock out two questions in one thread.

1. Is there any programs that allow the qwerty keyboard into a musical keyboard? i'm too cheap to buy an actual keyboard controller, don't know how to play really, and its just for a few notes to dub with my guitar.

and 2. i'm having feedback issues when i plug my amp (line6 ax2212) to my powerbook. llrc, its a hot line coming directly from the amp, and thats whats causing it. any way to fix that?

Thanks.

Musical typing is intergrated in Garageband. shfit+cmd+k . That should do the trick.

I don't know a solution for your other problem. Maybe buy a firewire interface.

You are plugging a guitar amp into the line in port of a powerbook?!
:)

Get a firewire or usb audio device. Search this forum for lots of suggestions.
