Hi everyone! I'll be getting my new PowerBook on Monday (at least that's what FedEx tells me) and I'm really psyched about putting together a music composition workstation. I went ahead and purchased Jam Pack but now I need to make use of those extra 100 instruments! Apple's store offers the M-Audio Keystation 49e and the Edirol PCR-30 coming in at $100 more, money isn't much of an issue so I'd like some opinions on both of these. :) Now about getting those sounds out of my new PowerBook and into my ears is a different story. I just purchased some Sennheiser HD 280 Silver Pro Headphones for when I'm not in the dorm, but I'd like something to listen to my compositions with that will fill the room and not just my ears. I have the Harmon Kardon Soundsticks, think those would do the trick or should I invest in some real monitors like Mackie? Any suggestions greatly appreciated, thanks!
