Hey guys I just sold my 2010 MBP and decided to get a used 2016 macbook 12 inch with retina. I am absolutely loving this little computer but I noticed when I was cleaning it last night that I could see some small imprints of the keys on the keyboard and I tried cleaning the screen off and it almost seems that it is permanent? Does anyone know what to do to get these removed or does apple have anything to say about it?

usually takes a while to mark screen with keyboard or it has had weight on top the machine while closed.

Very hard to removed from windows laptop not sure about mac screens guess they the same.

Light mark may come out but if heavy wear mark they will be there unless you swap screen.
my old toshiba had those mark but not too visible when working.

I had the same issue, it could be the delamination issue some retina screens have had. That is what I referenced when I called Apple and they replaced my screen assembly even out of warranty for free. The delamination replacement program extends for I think 3 years past purchase date or 1 year past Oct 2015, whichever is longer. They'll ask some questions to determine if that is the cause and if it is they'll have you send it to a depot or arrange a genius appointment at a local store.
