Hi all,

I recently got a new MBP and gave my trusty old 2015 one to my mum. I wiped it and (after a small hiccup) installed the OS from the Apple server as there was an issue duding the formatting.

Anyway, it worked well and does work well but, there seems to be an issue on the keyboard backlights. It seems that ever other of the top function keys isn't lit up although the backlight is on and works on others. It looks like it lights one, misses one, lights one, misses one and so on. I've attached a photo.

Does anyone know how this can be fixed? I've reset the SMC, PRAM etc. to no avail.

It was floorless when I used it and it is well looked after and never did this when I had it. I'd have seen as I'm very OCD about my laptops.

Any help would be great!

Thanks,
Ben
