My backlight on my powerbook keyboard has stopped working. Does anyone know if this is software controled? Or do I have a hardware problem? Anyone know how to diagnose the problem? It is a 15" 1.25 powerbook.

It also seems that my auto dimming display is not functioning either. Does this point to a back light sensor?

I also remember there being an option in the control panel for the auto dimming display. I cannot seem to find it, can someone point me there?
