I have taken my late 2007 MBP into the apple store probably at least a half dozen times because of the keyboard backlight not working, and every time they have found this to be the case, but can't explain it and proceed to replace the whole keyboard. One time they found the problem to be just a loose connection that needed to be soldered. The keyboard backlight will work for a short amount of time (between a couple months, and less than a week), so I just keep taking it in and having it fixed. There is obviously more of a problem, and frankly I am getting extremely sick of having to take my computer in. I dont know if they would be willing to replace the whole machine, because it is 2.5 years old, but I'm getting really sick of having to drag it in to get it fixed, just to know that it's most likely going to break again. I have searched the forums and cannot find anyone with a similar problem. What do you think I should do?
