Keyboard backlight stuck on

I had the keyboard backlight disabled in SL, can't seem to disable it now. It will turn off after a certain amount of time, but next time I touch the machine it comes on. SO annoying! Anyone else have the same issue or know of a solution?

Same here. Control panel did not work. Shut mine off by using F key. F5 I think. Kept pressing to turn down to off.

Same here. Had to hold F5 to turn it off.

I found another weird thing in Snow Leopard (haven't tested in Lion). Press the play button on the keyboard and it turns off. Press it again and it turns on. Sometimes I need 2 or 3 presses, but then every press after toggles on/off.

Same here. Had to hold F5 to turn it off.

YAY! Thank you. Problem Solved. Lion is now at 100% functionality!
