Keyboard backlight

So I have a macbook pro and the keyboard backlight turns on and off when i press the f,g,and v keys when I am in a dark room. any thoughts?

well that is where the backlights are located (roughly) I would assume you have a loss connection that you are pressing on when you you use though keys

much the same thing happens if you sit down on a motorbike and the engine cuts out as lots of the wiring is routed under the seat

f, g, v - No, they don't do that on mine. But you can de-activate the ambient light sensor on the Pro, can't you? Which model have you got? Is it still under warranty?

Are the keys misaligned?
