When using Windows 7 Pro on my new MBPro 15, Windows always boots up with the keyboard brightness set to it brightest setting. Is there anyway to adjust this? It remembers my previous setting when booting to iOS but not when booting into windows.

Using BootCamp.

Thanks:apple:

There's a 3rd-party program that lets you quickly adjust/disable the backlighting but I don't know if it remembers the settings after reboot.

The same maker makes Trackpad ++ which is a highly-rated driver replacement for the Trackpad under bootcamp.

I tried both programs and they caused problems for me but others rave about them so I'm sure the fault was at my end but I just couldn't be bothered to pursue it.
Both programs are also donationware that must be re-installed weekly unless you purchase a license.

Thanks, I will give them a look. I do not use the trackpad on my MBPro15, I use a MS Mouse and it works perfectly.
