Keyboard BG Color Changed?

I swear my 4S had a black (or dark) BG color on the keyboard and now it is the lighter grey. Did this change because of the 5.0.1 update? Or am I insane and not remembering correctly?

This is what my keyboard looked like when I first got the phone.

Any clue why? I liked the black better.

My iPod isn't on 5.0.1 and it had a grey keyboard background.

I also noticed this but only in the initial setup. Not sure why its black there, but I believe its still the blue/gray everywhere else.

Nothing has changed, always been this way. You will also notice the keyboard is black when you enter your password for making a purchase in the app store or iTunes. The keyboard is black when you setup the phone as well.

I also prefer the black over the gray/blue.
