Hey, I changed out the dvd drive on my wifes macbook (not under warranty), becuase it was doing that stupid scratching thing that a lot of people have had a problem with. Once I had everything back together, I tested it, and it turned on fine, but the case was in the way of the cd going in at the right angle. I took it apart again, and used pliers to bend the bottom part of the dvd drive slot, and the dvd went in fine, but now it wont turn on... I wasnt anywhere near the logic board, so its not that. I know i put everything back together correctly. The only thing I can think of is that i might have messed up the ribbon connecting the keyboard. Any ideas on how i can find out what it is without having to buy a whole new top case just to check?
