Definitely would make it way too thick to carry around like that, but they could have at least made that lip go up further to protect the screen...

Nah its nice and compact, almost the same size as having a regular case on your phone that would actually provide armor while aLSO having a keyboard! I just dont really like touch screens so....best of both world IMO. Already pre-ordered one.

The thickness is more than double the iphone's original thickness at 7.1mm

I feel like I would type so much slower with that. Maybe it is just me.

I love the idea but it's really just not practical anymore. Touch screen typing is so much faster. This is coming from a former BB owner and power user

Not if you have huge hands like me. Even if I turn the phone sideways it still messes up all the time and swipe is just ridiculous. I like many other people just LOVE that old traditional blackberry keyboard and can type soooo fast on it.
