Just upgraded to IOS 26 on iPhone 14 pro, and the click when typing letters on the keyboard doesn't work. I've gone into Settings>Sounds>Keyboard Feedback> and toggled Sound off and On to no avail. I also checked in General>keyboard and toggled Sound on and off there as well. Any suggestions or are others experiencing the same?

Tried volume and mute switch. Still silent with no clicks. iPad works, iPhone 4 pro doesn’t.

Sorry to read it doesn't work in iOS26 as it should.

Surprised to read though there are still users here on the forum that actually use this feature. It is always one of the first things I turn off.

I have exactly the same problem, and I've also noticed that there's no sound when a text message arrives. I've carried out all the recommended checks, and I've also restarted my phone, but to no avail. If I can't fix it I'm going back to iOS 16.

Got it to work finally. Turned mute switch on / off a couple times, went into a text field (messages) and while curser in the typing space, raised the volume. Click on type is now working.
