keyboard clicks come on and off intermittently

for some reason after jailbreaking and possibly adding some themes, my keyboard clicks work intermittently, the same thing with the clicking sound when you put your screen to sleep with the top button. any ideas as to what could be causing this? Also I installed dreamboard and a few themes to try it out, now it will not uninstall. thanks
