I have the previous generation white (wired) keyboard. For some reason, the volume controls on it control the little speaker inside my Mac Pro, rather than the external speakers I have plugged into it.

Any idea how to change this?

Thanks.

I've had this happen to me once on my Mac Pro - sound coming out through the external speakers but the keyboard controlling the speaker inside the machine. I found powering off the computer, unplugging and leaving it for a few minutes before powering it up again sorted out the problem and it's not come back.
