Keyboard doesnt pick up or slow

It's happened about 5 times now; my keyboard just doesn't respond. When I type it doesnt show up or loads on the screen slow. Basically, it's as if I wasn't pressing any keys. It usually lasts about 2 - 5 seconds, and then it's back to normal. I type very quick so its annoying when I have to go back sometimes to redo the words.

I have tried Disk Utility and after it showed me errors I fixed them everytime.
