Hi,
I`m about to buy a new ibook 12" and was wondering whether any of you people have had bad experiences with the built in keyboard? I have to do a lot of typing and the keyboard of the ibook feels a bit fragile...
Also the unvariable typing position could be a bit of a problem I guess.
Anyway, what are your experiences with that?
Thanks!

I use iSkin, which protects the keyboard from liquids, dirt, etc, but I also feel that it helps the typing. I have found nothing wrong with the iBook's keyboard, but I've only had mine 6 months or so.

My sister has had her 12" iBook G3 for ~ 3 years and has never had a problem with the keyboard.
It's comfortable to type on and durable.
I do agree w/ 20rogersc that some sort of keyboard protection is a good idea.
I think you'll be VERY happy with your new iBook - they're awesome!

Good luck!
