keyboard feels sort of sticky?

when i play 2d fighting games especially, i notice theres some sort of sticky feeling i get because my characters movements tend to be a bit more sluggish or "sticky" when responding to my key movements. i dont notice any delay when i type, but i think there is a way to tweak it so that it works better for playing games with the wasd keys. can anyone help? these are my keyboard settings right now

I read the thread title and was afraid to click on it and see why...

Anyway, maybe it's just how the game naturally reacts to the keyboard? Have you tried it with other games?
