My 2020 13” MacBook Pro just suffered liquid damage - repair shop quoted over $2,000 to repair - very expensive cup of coffee!!
I have since dismantled and cleaned all visibly affected areas with contact cleaner - a small area around the USB -C ports.
The machine now works perfectly except for a non responsive keyboard! Touchpad and everything else is OK! Works with external keyboard.
Question: how and where does the keyboard connect to the main board in this machine? Is there a flex cable I should consider replacing? I cannot find any reference to a keyboard flex cable for post 2018 machines.
Any other suggestions for repair?
