I have a new Mac Mini and need a decent, reasonably-priced keyboard. I already have the Apple wireless keyboard, but it's dreadful. I'm using an HP USB one for now, but it rattles slightly.

I need something I can batter, with good response on the key - I've been using a Dell keyboard for 10 years, and need something that can take a beating. I do a lot of writing.

I have my eye on some Cherry keyboards, but I don't want to break the bank - something in the £20-£30 category. I have a Cherry mini keyboard, but the click noise for longer writing is a bit annoying.

Can anyone reccommend something?

I might get flamed for this one, but I really like Microsoft's keyboards. They're a good midrange keyboard. Any of the "Microsoft Wired Keyboard" series are pretty nice.

You know, I'm considering a Microsoft keyboard. They make good peripherals. Certainly, my mouse is an MS infrared and works a treat. I might just browse a few of them...
