So i just experience the keyboard issue that most people have been complaining about.

This is on a BTO 2016 15 inch MacBook Pro

I type a lot on my keyboard, I also have a bucket full of dongles to go along with my MacBook. Today for the first time i plugged in the Apple USB-C to VGA/USB Adapter. The laptop prompted to install the firmware for the dongle and then rebooted.

After the reboot with the dongle plugged back in, i was typing a document and all of a sudden the letter J on my keyboard stopped responding. I was getting frustrated but then took the dongle out of the laptop and what do you know ??

The J started working !!!

I plugged the dongle back in and it also works again

this leads me to believe that there is a bug in Sierra which relates to the keyboard

It seems that what most I've seen are experiencing is key chatter, which is a physical problem caused by the switch itself.

But interesting that your 'J' key stopped reporting altogether.

I think it was 'J'obs doing his quality control after the firmware update, hence the short pause.
