I went with the K811, partly due to my working often in dimly-lit spaces. I'm happy with my purchase, use it regularly with my rMBP (using it right now), my iPad Air, and my ATV. I'd buy it again.

I'm using a Logitech K8111 right now. I really like the feel of the keys and the fact it has backlighting which makes it more attractive.
The battery is rechargeable via a micro-USB connection. I don't have to recharge the keyboard hardly at all. But if you do, just plug it in overnight and it will go for weeks after that.
I've had 2 of the solar versions and both of them lasted less than a year, in a well lit area. Maybe I just have bad luck but that's been my experience

I've had mine last up to a month of regular use on one charge. There's a small warning light that queues up in red when the battery runs low - it's only come on once for me. I use the K811 almost all the time I'm using my rMBP while I'm at the home/office.
