It is a mid 2012 Retina MBP 15". Ive had keyboard imprints on the screen for a long time and wondering if there is a way to fix it short of replacing the screen?

Thinking about ordering a new 13" MBP and want to prevent this issue. Do people use a screen protector? I don't want to distort the clarity of the screen at all. Or I've seen people using a very thin soft cloth in between the screen and keyboard for when it is closed. Is that recommended?

Constantly cleaning your keyboard helps a little, but in the long run you just have to keep your precious screen away from any kind of a pressure... So basically use it as a desktop machine only lol...
