My keyboard momentarily disconnects and reconnects a few seconds later, any ideas? It does it often, during the caurse of the day. Batteries are good quality rechargables.

Also ONLY when typing emails, the text slows down, and if I stop typing the text slowly appears and finally catches up.

Again any thoughts anybody? Thanks. Martin

It helps if you specify which exact computer model and which keyboard you're using.

Mine does this too... maybe try making sure the bluetooth on your other devices is off so it's not interfering, ever since I turned the bluetooth off on my iPhone, it's not happened for a while.

Maybe the iPhone's bluetooth is the cause? I don't know...

Try a wired keyboard for a while and see if the problem persists. If it does, you'll need to explore other causes - like a process eating up the CPU, etc

thanks......!

thanks guys. I do have an iPhone & it is near the mac. Also use a bluetooth headset & that is nearly always on & connected to the phone. Maybe, keep them away from each other! That however wouldn't explain the slow text appearing, problem.

I think the slow texting is down to your mac being bloated or something. Try backing up and restoring or see if you're running out of ram by finding a free Ram monitor on the app store

My keyboard always indicates that the power levels are 100% yet at some point I was dropping my connection. I swapped batteries and it solved the problem. Maybe your charges are dropping below a certain threshold?
