Keyboard is missing?

Here's a weird one: when I install any third-party keyboard and have it enabled alongside the system keyboard, I lose ALL ability to type, which is a minor issue Take a look at the attached screenshots... where there should be a keyboard of some type, there's nothing.

Tried rebooting the phone, no difference. Only disabling the third-party keyboards helps. Thoughts?

Odd. No problems whatsoever here using SwiftKey. What keyboard are you using?

Trird with swiftkey and swype. Got Fleksy working, but it's the only one so far.

can't get any 3rd party keyboards working on my iPhone 5.

I'm having trouble with Swiftkey on iPhone 5. Sometimes it works, but othertimes it doesn't appear just as OP describes.

Have you allowed full access for the keyboard under settings?
My issue is that it isn't consistently showing up when I'm in iMessage
