I tried a search to see if this had been answered before but couldn't find an answer.
I have two systems that I connect through a single usbc cable using the same external keyboard, video, and mouse, an M2 MBA and a Intel Mini both running Ventura. Only one system is connected at a time.
When booting the Mini, the mouse works and I can log in with the keyboard just fine. When booting the MBA (with the lid opened or closed), the external mouse and keyboard do not respond and I have to log in with the builtin mouse and keyboard, video works fine however. After logging in, the external keyboard and mouse function.
I'd really like to be able to get the keyboard and mouse to respond after initial boot without having to remove the laptop from its stand, open the lid, and use the built in peripherals.
Any thoughts on where I may be going wrong?
