Hello, Thanks for your help in advance. Biggest problem right now is the 'Return' key is not working hence no carriage returns in this message. Sometimes the tracker pad doesn't work, when I plug in a USB mouse it works fine, then after a while the tracker works. At times whole sets of keys stop working eg 'u, j, m'. When the tracker doesn't work a PRAM zap seems to do the job. However, this hasn't helped with the Return key. The hard drive died recently and I replaced it. Would like some ideas on what to do. The machine I'm using is 1.33GHz PowerBook G4, 17", 2GB DDR SDRAM. It also crashed on me tonight and the error log is below. This is an "old" machine, but really it should have life in it yet.
