Keyboard Issues

Hey guys...

Recently the number keys on my MacBook Pro stopped working. It's the 1 through 9 keys. Everything else works.

I unplugged and replugged the KB ribbon but it didn't fix it.

Anyone heard of such a thing? I'll get a new KB if I have to but I'm checking here first for some ideas. Thanks.

I know this sounds cheesy, but have you gone to Apple for it? If you're still under warranty they'll just replace it for free. That's usually what I do.

It's way out of warranty... I can replace the KB myself for less than twenty bucks... but I wonder if anyone has any experience with these particular keys.
