keyboard keys seem funky

They make noises, have a odd feel to them. Not all of the keys but some. 17 inch new MacBook Pro bought yesterday from Best Buy.

I had a 2010 but gave it my son. Keys worked smooth on it.


I am new to Macs and laptops.

Ideas?

If something is wrong with it, exchange it. You aren't providing any details (my car is making a noise) so we can't really help you.

Thank you. I shall more than likely be exchanging it for another. When typing the keys "bounce back" "clumsily" and don't have the smooth feel of my other MacBook Pro keyboard. I am not sure how else to describe it.

The smoothness and ease of typing has been replaced with a sort of roughness.
