I've noticed since enabling three-finger drag (same behavior on built-in MBP trackpad or Magic Trackpad) that keyboard entry has become a bit glitchy. I've experienced at least three quirks:
(1) in any program, highlighting text and then typing new text in its place will often "eat" the first several letters typed, or even the surrounding text;
(2) in Microsoft Word or TextEdit, the first few keystrokes after highlighting text and then typing new text in its place will be ignored, meaning that one has to re-type;
(3) in Microsoft Word or TextEdit, ⌘+letter combinations, especially involving the left ⌘ key, have to be triggered several times to register in the system.
Any methods to correct, mitigate, or work around this irritating behavior? Thanks!
