Keyboard Layout?

Hi

I've just bought a Mac and the keyword layout is AWERTY - I can't find anything online to see what country or why this is set, has anybody any ideas? (I'm in the UK normally QWERTY)

AFAIK there is no official "AWERTY" keyboard, there is the French "AZERTY" but this isn't that.
Based on the rest of the layout and the £ symbol on the number 3 this looks to be a standard British keyboard with the A and Q keys swapped.

Have you tested the keys themselves? Someone may have just swapped the keycaps.
