I had the MacBook Pro logic board replaced last weekend and I got it back with the keyboard backlight not working. I brought it back to the Apple Genius and they took it in, called me three hours later with it fixed. The forms they gave me didn't say they replaced anything and the store employee didn't tell what went wrong.

The backlight isn't working again. I didn't notice until just now when I reinstalled Leopard.

I've double checked the settings, used that third party app that controls the keyboard backlight, gone in a dark room, resetting the SMC and PRAM. The screen dims though.

Does anyone have any ideas? Should I be worried that there is a greater issue? An option I no longer have is to bring it back to the Genius. I've tried searching but to no avail.
