I have the base model Late 2016 MBP, and I notice light leaking on keys. It's not noticable in a lit room, but I can see it in dark. Is it intentional, to like, see the borders of the keys? Or is it a flaw?

Edit: Forgot to add the photo. It's not noticable on the photo, but muh noticable in real life

I don't think that there is anything wrong... the keys are unattached from the body around the keys, so it is obvious that some light comes from the gab.

I suppose you only see that when watching it str8 from the top rather than keeping the laptop on your lap and watching the keyboard from 45degree angle or so...

Yeah I see it like that too, but it's not that severe like it was on previous gens.

Bit of light leak, but not like on the el-cheapo previous keyboard where the keys were literally surrounded by halos. I couldn't believe that such expensive machines had such sloppy keyboards.

The new keyboard is a huge improvement, but you have to get used to it.
