Hi,

Im working on macbook pro 17'' half year, before that - 2 years on 13''.
Im finding build-in trackpad very nice, it requires just a small movement one hand to have finger above pad.

Currently Im wondering about buying external monitor, keyboard, magic trackpad and some kind of stand for macbook - to get displays higher than now ;)

Is it convenient to have trackpad on the right/left side of the keyboard? I think it will require 2-3 times as long move as now with trackpad on the bottom of keyboard to get "access" to mouse pointer.

any opinions much appreciated.. thanks :)

I use a regular mouse on the right side of my keyboard and a trackpad on the left side. I can't use a mouse with my left hand, but I have no problems navigating the trackpad with my left hand.

Also when my right hand is preoccupied…
