Hey guys... for a month or so now, the left portion of my keyboard from the ` key over to about the 4 key and down has not worked. I am not aware of any damage that has been done, possibly some liquid damage by a roomate, but im not sure.
I have been getting by with a usb keyboard, but lugging around a keyboard kind of defeats the purpose of a laptop.
Questions I have:
1. Any of you encountered this problem or know someone who has?
2. I am out of warranty, does anyone have a ballpark cost on repairing this issue... nothing else but the dozen keys or so seems to be damaged.
3. How is the mac repair policy, if someone is out of warranty? Do they do a reasonably quick turn around? I cant be out a computer for long.
4. Is there a more appropriate place for me to post this?
